The signals used in the user identification module (SIM) circuit include data, clock and reset. Because the SIM card can be removed by the user, the SIM interface socket has ESD.
The solution shows that:
A single, space efficient TVS diode array can also be used. The sp3002-04utg appears; if a larger ESD capability is required for the sp1011-04utg device, it can be used. The MLA series multi-layer rheostat (MLV) or the sp0503 therapy series TVS diode array can also be used.

IEC 61000-4-2 is the most suitable standard for this interface. The test can prove that the terminal product is not vulnerable to ESD.
